It is this afternoon, 12:00 to 4:30 p.m. that will officially begin the fifth and latest
edition of the Biennale. Until July 8, this event presents an
opportunity to admire extraordinary
pieces made by recognized French potters and discover
the magnificent creations of
artists from the guest country in
2012: Israel.
This Saturday, June 30, 2012, the opening will begin around
16:30 Tuffé with the exhibitions
presented in the
Abbey. Find Israeli ceramicists, Hilda Merom,
Manal Morcos and
Rachel London Katz.
In the courtyard of the Abbey,
discover the works of the great names of
French pottery invited this year,
Alain Gaudebert, Marc
Uzan, Micenmacher Maya and Nicolas Rousseau.
And finally, meet our
"locals", Kelly Cavoué and Anne-Marie Hubert in the Pigeonnier, Francoise Auvray, Lucie
Becuwe Delphine Leray and of course our life president for
life : Philippe Menard in le
Cloître.
Then the transvap lead us in Prévelles to discover the achievements of our invited ceramic artist Michal Alon in his workshop of la Pucelle, then visit to our friends at Maison du Potier( The Potter's House) to get acquainted with Rajah Attallah, Tenat Auka and Garo Sandrouni, traditional potters who represent the diversity of this region. Finally, return to Tuffé with transvap.
